Calling ALL DLI K-5th grade teachers! You need to attend one of the sessions on the new DLI Correlated Curriculum maps. In this session, the team of teachers who worked with me to develop the maps will expain how they were designed and how to use them to map out your units and lessons throughout the year. The correlation coordinated literacy themes, concepts, and skills across Spanish and English literacy programs. The maps provide guidance on what may be shared across the curriculum, and what must be taught explicitly in Spanish or English. By followingthese maps, you will be able to effectivly manage your time to prepare stuents for success.
